Breathing in,
I know I am breathing in.
Breathing out,
I know I am breathing out.

Mindfulness transforms how we relate to events and experiences
Mindfulness is a 2,500-year-old practice for cultivating our capacity for awareness and acceptance of the present moment. Mindfulness is a moment-to-moment, non-judgmental, awareness of the present, typically using our sensation of breathing or a sense of our body as an anchor for our attention.
We develop this skill through formal and informal practices. And just like any other skill, mindfulness grows stronger the more you practice it. To cultivate mindfulness, we embody, embrace, and pay attention to our present moment. Most importantly, we accept, that is, we do not apply judgments to the things that exist in the present moment.
The heart of our practice is to embody our own presence in such a way, that we can touch the life that is here, right now, and available to us in every moment.
Mindfulness restores us from our 'default' mode
Allow this to be a time where we switch from the mode of running, scurrying, worrying, and constant doing, and let it be a time for simply being.
