When does the course start?
(This course will be available in early 2021). Once available, this six-week course begins at the time of your completed registration. Subsequent lessons are released weekly at the same time. Classes are generally 90-120 minutes with some variation. Plan a half-day (3-4 hours) for the Week 6 Mini-Retreat.
Do I have to do it in one session?
We recommend completing each weekly class in one sitting; however, each class is broken into shorter lessons so you can listen over time as your schedule permits. Your registration remains active for two weeks following the end of the six-week course to allow you time to work at your own pace.
What do I need for the first week?
I'm glad you asked! We recommend finding a quiet place to sit where you won't be interrupted. Close all the tabs on your browser and turn off your phone notifications. Maybe have a journal to take notes and track your experience. Wear some comfortable clothes and bring your Willingness!
How do I sit?
For the meditations, simply sit with an upright and comfortable posture, either on a straight-back chair or a firm cushion. No need for advanced yoga poses here!
Will I really develop gratitude and compassion?
Good news! I have a secret for you. Science has shown that simply sitting down to meditate with intention for five to ten minutes every day will help you to develop calmness, clarity, and deeper connectedness to yourself and others. This course will give you helpful guidance and a boost in the right direction to supercharge your experience!
